Which Of The Following Can I Buy For 2.5 Million Gold? - Guild Wars Forums

I have around 2.5 million gold currently (in cash & ectos), and not much to spend it on. I currently need 5 more points to reach the next Hall of Monuments title as I'm on 40/50 at the moment, as you can see from the following link: http://hom.guildwars2.com/en/#page=m...AAAiYMIAAAAAAA

I was wondering which of the following I could afford to BUY with the money I have, as they are the ones I need:

Eternal Defender of Ascalon

Honestly, you can buy most of the things on that list. That said, if money wasn't an issue I'd go for zaishen (PvP title = 3 points) and the last two fellowship points.

EDIT: I'm assuming here that your first paragraph implies you only want 45/50. If not then you'll have to buy/obtain a lot of those titles anyway. Zaishen is the best option for PvP if you've got the money for it and you can hire runners for vanquisher/guardian if you only care about the HoM points. Sweet Tooth/Drunkard/Party are best left until events where they're plentiful, i.e, cheap.

From the looks of your HoM, you can probably get 2 more by getting all the statues for your heroes/pets and an additional 3 with the Eternal Zaishen Supporter.

That would probably be the cheapest route.

So buy all the armor for your heroes and put all pets in the HoM and buy enough zaishen keys to be able to put the title in your HoM.

Also, if its really burning a hole in your pocket you can donate to the "Buy awesome stuff for me" fund if you want,

As Kwith said, 2 points can easily be obtained by hero armors + pets.
An additional PvP title would bring you up to 45/50.

However, if you're after the 50/50 these titles can be gained via spending:

Eternal Ale-Hound
Eternal Party Animal
Eternal Sweet Tooth

It should also be noted that these titles are relatively easy to get:

Eternal Survivor
Eternal Defender of Ascalon
Eternal Savior of the Kurzicks
Eternal Savior of the Luxons

If you're after finishing survivor in one go, you can complete the following while filling out the "hero books" (I forget the name).

Eternal Guardian of Elona
Eternal Guardian of Cantha and
+ Eternal Legendary Guardian

Once these are completed just trade in the books to go towards your survivor experience.

I just checked how much experience you get, it's not enough to complete survivor in one go. I would do some missions that give a lot of experience (MOX/POX missions etc) and save them. Then get a considerable amount of experience on your own before trading everything in.
Completing all quests in the Fissure of Woe yields 100,000 XP.

I'm sure the next poster will fix any mistakes and add to what I've stated, but this is how I would go about it.

PS: I'm jealous, money seems to elude me no matter how much I chase it... =[

Just adding that the Legendary Survivor title can be bought as well. Hammers of Kathandrax are about 5-6k each, and yield 7,500XP when you turn them in for Kathandrax's Crusher quest.

Skill hunter is one I would suggest, you can never go wrong unlocking every Elite skill in the game. Granted that takes some time and effort, not just cash.

However getting that should help you more then any of the others and then the Z-key title for PvP is the next best choice.

I think Z-keys go for about 6k each (check this) nowadays. For 1.2 mil you can get 3 fast points with that PvP title. I'd start there.
